Hradecký kros – a race that takes you back to the forest

The 41st Hradecký kros, part of the East Bohemian Running Grand Prix, takes place on Sunday 21 June at Biřička pond in Hradec Králové. Runners cover 10 km in two 5 km laps on forest roads across gently undulating terrain.

Before the start

Schedule and facilities

Schedule

  • Race check-in 8:30–9:45, behind the sluice at Biřička pond.
  • Each runner receives a race number and timing chip. Race numbers must be returned after finishing.
  • Start at 10:00, awards after the finish.

Travel

  • Parking by Biřička pond (about 300 m)
  • Public transport: Nový Hradec Králové (about 500 m), trolleybus 1 or 2

Registration and entry fee

  • Online until 20 June 2026: sport-reg.cz
  • Limited on-site registration on 21 June 2026
  • CZK 150 online, CZK 200 on site. Pay in cash on race day.

Awards and results

  • The awards ceremony takes place after the final runner finishes.
  • The top three in each category receive cash and material prizes.
  • Unofficial results after all runners finish; official results within one hour on site and 24 hours on sport-base.cz.

Race rules

  • Each participant races at their own risk.
  • The organiser accepts no liability for injury or property damage.
  • Runners must follow the course, pass all checkpoints and display their race number visibly.
  • The organiser may change the course in unforeseen circumstances.
