SAAR Challenge 2026

Children can enter age-based races from 300 to 1,500 metres hosted by Alex the lion mascot. Topsports centrum will also provide pedal cars, off-road scooters, a dance show and games. Follow the Trail Běhy Facebook page for updates.

Check-in and schedule

  • Check-in is at the Hlinsko football stadium, with a bag drop available.
  • 7:30 70 km race start (limit 12,5 hours)
  • 8:30 44 km race start (limit 9 hours)
  • 9:30 Children’s races start, followed by the awards ceremony
  • 10:30 Half marathon 21.5 km race start
  • 10:40 7 km race start
  • 14:00 Awards ceremony – 7 km and half marathon
  • The half marathon course counts towards the Trail Běhy series standings
  • 15:00 Trailběhy.cz series awards ceremony
  • 17:00 Awards ceremony – 44 km and 70 km
  • 17:30 Raffle

Entry fee payment and inclusions

  • Pay by bank transfer to account 2001820886/2010, Karlovarský sporťáček z.s.; use the runner ID as the payment reference.
  • The entry fee includes aid stations, finish refreshments, medical and race support, timing, results and a souvenir medal.
  • It also includes activities, scooter and pedal-car hire and Alex’s children’s area.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable in case of absence or force majeure.

Prizes and results

  • Material prizes for the top three runners in each age category.
  • Every finisher receives a medal and can enter the raffle.
  • Unofficial results after all runners finish; official results within one hour on site and 24 hours on trailbehy.cz.

Entry conditions

  • Children’s races: D1 3-6 let, D2 7-9 let, D3 10-12 let, D4 13-15 let.
  • Rodinná 7 km: junior men/women 16-19 a men/women 20-60+ let.
  • Půlmaraton a Ultra Trail: M1/Z1 16-19, M2/Z2 20-39, M3/Z3 40-49, M4/Z4 50-59, M5/Z5 60+.
  • Long 70 km: junior men/women 16-19 a men/women 20-60+ let.
  • The category is determined by year of birth, not age on race day.

Entry fees by course

  • Children’s race: 200 Kč online / 300 Kč on site
  • Rodinná 7 km: 300 Kč until 30 June, 400 Kč until 25 September, 500 Kč on site
  • Půlmaraton 21,5 km: 600 Kč until 30 June, 800 Kč until 25 September, 1000 Kč on site
  • Ultra Trail 44 km: 800 Kč until 30 June, 1000 Kč until 25 September, 1400 Kč on site
  • Long 70 km: 1200 Kč until 30 June, 1500 Kč until 25 September, 1800 Kč on site

Travel and organiser

  • Parking is available on adjacent roads and by the sports hall.
  • Organiser: Karlovarský sporťáček z.s.
  • Marketing partner: Topsports Czech s.r.o.
  • Runners must follow the course, pass all checkpoints and display their race number visibly.
